Creative Styling and Fashion (Adult)
It is a preparatory program for those who want to study stylist and fashion design in the fields of Fine Arts. It is a portfolio preparation program for those who want to become stylists and study fashion domestically or abroad. It is a self-improvement program with private lessons for those who want to take part in professional working life (e.g. creating their own brands, opening a boutique) before preparing a collection.
DEFINITION OF A STYLIST
They are individuals who, with a contemporary understanding of fashion, design garments in the ready-to-wear and made-to-measure departments of the clothing industry, identify the appropriate textiles for these designs, or design patterns and select appropriate accessories based on the textiles. They create all of this work using drawings, drawings, and graphics. Stylists, who hold a position of influence in the fashion world, have a wide range of work opportunities, including the ready-to-wear sector, the knitwear sector, clothing workshops, textile industry organizations, private institutions, leather workshops, clothing stores, boutique companies, and custom design companies.
COURSE CONTENT
1st MONTH
Materials required: 35x50 base, 35x50 paper, 2B pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener
Education Information:
- Definition of stylist
- Basic Art Education
- Color Information
- Participants learn to transfer the human body and its anatomical structure to paper with correct proportions, using freehand drawing techniques.
2nd Month
Course Information:
- Ability to create striking, original and exclusive drawings
- Artistic Design Studies
- Participants gain experience (with the instructor's guidance) in drawing types of clothing on the human body and transferring their imaginations to paper. They then stylize them with color studies.
3rd month
Program Information:
- Ability to choose fabric, color and accessories suitable for clothing collection work
- Preparing a creation
- The participant, who begins to create his/her own style in line with the experience gained in the first two levels, completes his/her stylist training by reaching the correct level of expression in a fashion figure, along with various fabric types, fabric textures and color harmonies, in this 3-month journey towards the creation of a fashion collection.
Ceren Yilmaz
Born in Istanbul in 1997, she graduated from Beykoz Anatolian Girls' Vocational High School with a degree in Women's Clothing and Technologies and earned a bachelor's degree in Textile and Fashion Design from Beykent University. She continued her textile education with a master's degree in Textile and Fashion Design from Beykent University. She worked as a designer for Türkiye's leading textile brands and also taught textile, pattern, and fashion design to numerous students.
